Hi Everyone
If you are brown as a berry and have dark rings on your legs, then you will be easily identifiable as having been out sailing in recent weeks. It is such a relief to get an occasional light wind day, not to come off the water exhausted and feel like needing to be carried home. Though windy days are fun too!
We all appreciate and enjoy Mudeford Sailing Club. Every one of us who sails or socialises at the club needs to be finding a way to support the purchase of the harbour bed. We can donate money regularly or occasionally, organise a fund raising event, support fund raising events, come up with ideas.
Thank you Helen and John Snelling for hosting a magnificent sausage supper in your lovely garden and thank you for donating all the proceeds to the harbour bed fund. Has anyone thought of asking George Grantham to "slave" for them (advert on barge)? He is a very good fixer of guinea pig runs!
What could you do?
Mudeford Week is coming up, 7th to 13th August. Hope to see you there one way or another. It is easily the best holiday week of the year!
Happy Sailing!
Kate Grandfield.
