The forty-eighth Annual General Meeting of Mudeford Sailing Club (formerly Mudeford Yacht Club) to be held at Stanpit Hall on Friday 23rd October 2009 at 7.30 p.m. AGENDA 1. Apologies 2. The minutes of the forty-seventh Annual General Meeting 3. To receive the Commodore’s report 4. To receive the Treasurer’s report 5. To receive the Sailing Secretary’s report 6. To elect/re-elect Officers and Members of the Committee 7. To elect/re-elect the Hon. Auditor 8. Proposed by the General Committee that: Rule 12 should be amended to read: "12. Every candidate for membership (except Life Members) introduce themselves to a member of the Committee to discuss membership. If satisfied of their suitability shall recommend acceptance and sign the application form to that effect." And that the words: "and shall include the name, address and the signatures of the Proposer and Seconder" shall be deleted from Rule 13. 9. Proposed by the General Committee that: "The Joining Fee and Annual Membership Subscriptions shall be increased as follows: the proposed increase is shown in second and fourth columns. Single Member £25 + £5 £35 + £3 Couple £30 + £5 £42 + £3 Family £35 + £5 £50 + £4 Youth £12 + £3 £18 + £3 Junior £10 + £2 £10 + £2
10. To consider any Notices of Motion Notes: Any Notices of Motion should be sent to the Hon.Secretary before the date of the meeting. Discussion of the meeting shall be confined to the business stated in the above Agenda but there will be an opportunity for a general discussion after the close of the official business.
