JUST A FEW POINTS PLEASE! Mudeford SC is unusual in a number of respects, and your visit to us will be much more enjoyable if you know about them before you arrive. A sketch map below explains the geography.

Access is limited to people on foot and boats on trolleys only.  All car parking must be done on the roads round the cricket green..  Access to the water is via Argyle Road.  Marshalls will direct you to rig on the right hand side of the road.

The Club itself is a Dutch Barge moored adjacent to Stride’s Yard.  It has a galley and (very) limited changing facilities.

Christchurch Harbour is shallow (and thus very safe - you can stand on the bottom and breath fresh air except at high springs) and very tidal.

Approaches to Mudeford Sailing Club.

Marshalls will direct you to car parking.  Please DO NOT try to take your car down Argyle Road, but follow the marshalls’ directions, unload your boat(s) from your car or trailer and trolley them to the slipways via the path you have been directed to.  A map of the Harbour is here
