Junior sailors are very welcome at the Club and have special training and racing arrangements made by the Captain of Juniors,  Please remember that the Club is not a creche!  Juniors are to be accompanied by an adult to assist if necesary with rigging, etc.  Parents are encouraged to take a full part in the training and racing scene as assistants, helpers and safety cover.

The more experienced Juniors are encouraged to race with the Slow Fleet in all our racing. We find that Optimists often beat Lasers on handicap!  Generally speaking, a well-sailed Oppi will do 2 laps to a Laser’s 3, making the mid-race break a family occasion.
