mudeford week 2010 outline programme of events

Sat 7 August (The tide is low and falling this day. Racing will start on time!)

    0900 Weekend Series 1 & 2/Anchor Trophy
    1830 Crabbing competition on the Quay, followed by drinks at Highcliffe Sailing Club

Sun 8 August

    0900 Weekend Series 3 & 4 (including Comet Open regatta, 0900 - 1500, 3 races with separate starts followed by tea and prizegiving)
    18:00    Boules on the Beach.  Eat first at "The Hut" from 6 p.m. onwards
     

Mon 9 August

    1000 Week Series Race 1 
    Relay race to follow.
    18:30    Commodore's Bar-b-q at the Cricket Pavilion. £6.50 per head

Tue 10 August

    1000 Week Series Race 2
    Troll’s race to follow
    18:30    Treasure Hunt starting from Vrouwe Johanna, followed by fish & chip supper.  Treasure Hunt £1 per person, cost of fish & chips to be confirmed.

Wed 11 August

    1000 Week Series Race 3
    Rodway Trophy
    2-crew races
    19:00    Tessa's Restaurant, New Milton for Tessa's speciality - pie (choice of chicken & mushroom or minced beef & veg), chips & peas, followed by dessert & tea or coffee £10 per head.

Thu 12 August

    1100 Week Series 4
    Ladies Race and “Ladies” race (the latter for drag artists only - huge prizes and massive publicity, dears, I heard Sky TV will be there, and that nice Adrian Chiles, you know, he did The One Show with that girl, what’s her name...)
    18:00    Roy's bike ride leaving from Argyll Road & finishing at HSC for supper & a drink.

Fri 13 August (so watch out)

    1200 Week Series 5 followed by
    Latchmoor Trophy (Pursuit Race)
    19:00 Prizegiving at St Mark's Church Hall in Highcliffe.  American supper & bring your own drink & glasses, £4 per hea    d.
